Meet Elena, aka Laney

I’ve always been an artist. And while earning a bachelor degree in Product Design, a few studio arts classes captured my heart, but none more so than metalsmithing. I fell in love with the hammers, saws, files, and flame, and the way this craft blends technical acuity and precision with creative and intuitive hand work. Over the last 10 years, I’ve kept this work close but when I inherited my mothers cabochon collection the fire ignited with new passion. I’ve got quite the imagination and I love making bold pieces centered around gorgeous stones and the stories they tell me through their colors, textures, and origins.
